Mental Health Drama I London Film Production

Whilst recovering from their suicide attempts in a psychiatric hospital, a romance blossoms between NICOLA and LUKE. If they can navigate dating rituals and the ward staff intent on separating them, they just might have a chance to fall in love.

A Place of Safety is a refreshingly honest, darkly funny exploration of healing and redemption, proving love can flourish even in a psych ward. Authentic storytelling that honors real patient experiences, based on the writer's lived experience through mental healthcare.

Shot entirely on location in Ghana, this poignant drama explores family, identity, and the complex relationship between diaspora communities and their ancestral homelands.
