We are currently developing Afrocentric, female lead feature projects for film and television. Here are some of our projects in development.

PIGEONS & PLANTAIN

After burning down her latest foster placement, teen "trouble maker" Ama is evicted. Unexpectedly reunited with her long lost African aunt Dede, Ama plots her escape until she discovers there is more to her aunt, her family and her past than meets the eye.

Pigeons & Plantain, a contemporary coming of age Young Adult fantasy, reimagines traditional west African myths and culture through the story of a troubled teen and her extraordinary aunt.

MANGO THIEF

Mango Thief a tense, suspenseful psychological thriller is inspired by the military coup in Ghana 1979.

Penelope, proud wife of Major General Abebrese, hostess extraordinaire and mistress of the biggest and the best house, lives a perfect and privileged life in Burma Camp barracks where she is the queen bee of military wives.

A coup throws Penelope's carefully ordered life into chaos. Her ingrate chauffeur private Samuels becomes a coup leader, imprisons then executes her husband...

MOTHERS BURDEN

Yaa, a headstrong recent graduate travels from the UK to Ghana attending her estranged mother's funeral. The sudden loss of their matriarch, sends Yaa's disaffected family in a tail spin.

A fish out of water, Yaa is pitted against her hostile relatives as they attempt to prevent her taking her rightful place as their next matriarch.

Set at a country funeral in contemporary Ghana, Mother's Burden is a gripping allegorical tale of jealousies, deception and dark family secrets.

We have made several short films that have screened at national and international film festivals. Our award winning films Shadow Man which was funded by Film London and won the excellent vision award at Academy qualifying Reel Sisiters Of The Diaspora Film Festival in New York.
