We are currently developing Afrocentric, female lead feature projects for film and television. Here are some of our projects in development.

PIGEONS & PLANTAIN

Rebellious fifteen year old foster kid Ama, burns down her latest foster placement and is evicted.

Reunited with her aunt Dede, a bone chewing, tree hugging earthy woman who speaks with pigeons and keeps family secrets, Ama is reluctant to stay and plots her escape.

Ama realises there is more to her past than meets the eye when she discovers her aunt is a witch and she comes from a long line of African witches, including her mother who disappeared under mysterious circumstances.

MANGO THIEF

Inspired by Ghana's military coup of 1979, Mango Thief is a tense, suspenseful psychological thriller. Penelope, matriarch and proud wife of Major General Ofori-Amanfo is the queen bee of all wives in Burma Camp barracks.

A military coup throws Penelope's carefully ordered life into chaos as her driver Samuels, an ingrate, becomes a coup leader and head of her household.

Suddenly demoted, under lockdown and widowed, Penelope must rise above her grief and find a way to defeat Samuels, ...

MOTHERS BURDEN

Set during a Ghanaian countryside funeral, Mothers Burden is a gripping, allegorical contemporary story. Yaa, a headstrong, recent graduate returns to Ghana after a long absence. Yaa's family has been devastated by the sudden death of her estranged mother and family matriach.

A fish out of water, Yaa unearths dark family secrets, deceptions and jealousies. Yaa is pitted against her relatives as they attempt to prevent her from taking her place as the family's next matriarch.

SHORT FILMS

We have made several short films that have screened at national and international film festivals. Our award winning films Shadow Man which was funded by Film London and won the excellent vision award at Academy qualifying Reel Sisiters Of The Diaspora Film Festival in New York.
